    MBA in Security Management

    Our MBA in Security Management can offer career-oriented students the opportunity to expand their expertise and credentials in this field, specifically in the area of protection of physical and intellectual property. As one of the 19 concentrations that can enhance your Keller MBA, our Security Management MBA concentration also allows you to more easily customize your coursework to reflect your specific interests and professional aspirations.

    Taught by experienced professors from within the security management industry, our Security Management concentration courses address fundamental concepts, including personnel law and obligations, negotiations, contract management, ethical standards and legal compliance. In addition, current topics, such as profiling and discrimination issues, as well as hiring and corporate development requirements, can be explored. With our MBA in Security Management, you can also learn to design a flexible and comprehensive security plan, assess threats, develop countermeasures, and protect information. By addressing the implications of substance abuse, violence, theft and terrorism on daily operations, a Security Management concentration can also provide motivated students with the ability to address some of the most challenging and important professional concerns our world is currently facing.

Do I need to choose a concentration/emphasis for my MBA or Specialized Master's Degree?

To help you focus your MBA or Specialized Master's Degree, and take coursework that matches your interests and goals, you can choose one of 19 concentrations, but it is not a requirement to graduate. For our Specialized Master's Degree programs that have emphases, you will be required to select one that best aligns with your career goals.
