Keller's MPM* degree program requires successful completion of 14 project management courses, including five core courses, six project management courses, two electives to match your needs and interests, and a culminating capstone course that allows you to put your new skills and knowledge into practice.

Through the six required project management courses, you'll learn applicable skills needed to achieve new levels of career potential and success:

  • Project Management Systems (PM586)
  • Advanced Program Management (PM587)
  • Project Cost and Schedule Control (PM592)

PMP Elective Courses Align with Your Career Goals

Keller offers a wide variety of electives so you can tailor your program to suit your individual career goals and interests. The PMP requires completion of two elective courses. You may choose any electives for which you meet the prerequisite(s), including the comprehensive PMP review course - Advanced Project Management Practices and Professional Exam Preparation (PM605). This elective course enhances the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) with topics that include global project management, leadership, virtual teams and project management systems, and has helped many Keller alumni prepare for the Project Management Professional certification exam.

  • Project Management Capstone (PM600)
    Drawing upon multi-disciplinary knowledge gained throughout your Keller program, real-world capstone projects provide the unique opportunity for you to demonstrate relevant business judgment and analytical models in the context of current and emerging opportunities. As a required part of your Keller program, the capstone course provides a unique opportunity to hone your professional skills while you complete your graduate degree.
